I've just got back from a week in Tenerife with my mum and sister. It was the perfect break and considering it was our first holiday as a family of three, we felt it was a great success! We stayed in a Princess Hotel a chain who we have stayed with on a previous holiday in Mexico. The hotel itself was beautiful: the entrance was absolutely stunning it was designed a little like a high end Dubai shopping mall, with extremely high ceiling, glass elevators and marble white floors. It was an upside down designed hotel, meaning that all the guest rooms were below and the swimming pool, bar and restaurant were on the top level facing out over the sea.
I found Tenerife to be a very scenic place, from the main roads and our hotel you could see way up into the mountains, whilst if you turned the other way you were looking over the clear blue sea. We signed on to a trip to visit the famous Volcano up in the clouds of Tenerife, this is a perfect photo opportunity as there is the opportunity to go up insanely high by cable car to get closer to the mouth of the Volcano. Though if heights are not your strong point then there is loads of incredible rock formations for miles around which makes a lovely background for photos.
(Me and my sister Maisey at the hard rock cafe.)
If you ever get the opportunity to go to Tenerife or have already booked then I 100% recommend going to both Siam park and Loro park. Siam park has been voted the world's best water park and it's not a lie. They have everything from family corkscrew rides to the world's strongest wave machine.
Loro park is another perfect photograph opportunity, with whale, dolphin and sea lion shows all day its a perfect time to test out your fastest shutter speeds and new close up lenses!
I loved Tenerife and would love to go back and visit Loro and Siam park again (they were by far my favs!)
Hope your having a good summer and if you're perhaps thinking Tenerife, do it!
