This is my first post on my new blog and website, so please bare with me as I haven't wrote much since leaving sixth form in May! My rather clever sister came up with the idea of posting photographs of places I visit over the summer so my aim is to post every weekend (I class Friday nights as the weekend too!) to keep you up to date with all my little adventures with various peoples and places.
I recently went on my first independent adventure abroad with my lovely group of girls to Malia in Crete. It was probably the craziest week of our lives however without a doubt the memorable.
We stayed in the Icandy apartments which was literally a 5 minute walk to the strip (30 seconds when drunk). The hotel owners Georgia and George were incredibly welcoming, and Amy who worked behind the bar was so so lovely too. Being quite a little hotel meant that the pool was often quite quiet and peaceful during the day and by not being on the strip meant there was little noise at night too. The food was perfect as a hangover cure in the morning and the drinks were so cheap in all the bars. 5 euros would get a pint of sex on the beach, 2 shots and a fishbowl - the dream! I would completely recommend Malia as a first girls holiday to anyone.
I owe a massive thank you to Annie, Ellie, Rosie, Sophie, Zoe and everyone else we met up with for making it such an amazing and memorable week!
